TP1 Transformer Compliancy

The Energy Policy Act of 2005, signed by President Bush on August 8, 2005, embodies numerous national energy efficiency product standards for NEMA products. Standards go into effect for low voltage dry-type (LVDT) distribution transformers manufactured on or after January 1, 2007.

Minimum efficiencies have been established for each size of transformer, and extensive design, testing and manufacturing time has been spent to ensure each transformer meets or exceeds these efficiencies. A typical model will see a payback in three years at $.065 per kwh, compared to non-TP1 compliant models (non-compliantmodels will no longer be manufactured after January 1, 2007).

DULUX® EL Dimmable BR30 Compact Fluorescent Lamps

The 15 watt BR30 dimmable compact fluorescent is now available to replace the 65 watt BR30 incandescent. The BR30 dimmable can be used on standard electronic incandescent wall dimmers. One advantage to the SYLVANIA BR30 dimmable is the dimming capacity, down to 10% dimming. Another advantage against our competition is our small ballast housing which allows direct replacement, no socket extenders required. These lamps deliver initial lumens of 600 and have an MOL of 5.5 inches. With excellent color rendering at 82 and color temperature of 2700 coupled with 6,000 hours life makes this dimmable a long lasting, energy savings product perfect for the Hospitality, Retail, and Property Management market segments.

The FO32/25W/800XP/SS/ECO family is OSRAM SYLVANIA's lowest wattage family of SUPERSAVER® OCTRON® lamps, operating at 22% lower wattage than standard T8 lamps. Initially available in 3000K, 3500K and 4100K with 5000K to follow soon, the 3000-4100K lamps are rated at 2475 initial lumens, 2350 mean lumens (at 8000 hours) and 85 CRI. On Instant Start ballasts at 3 hours per start, the lamps are rated at 24,000 hours (30,000 hours at 12 hours per start) and can be operated on programmed rapid start ballasts as well.
